The vision of Marc Chavaree, Carolina Learning Connection has been developed to promote awareness in the community as well as provide members of the community a place to learn new things, such as photography, cooking, and organic gardening. CLC will also offer wellness classes to the community, providing individuals an additional place to enjoy learning while enriching and bettering their lives.
“I wanted to provide the Charlotte community a place to share knowledge, increase educational growth and connect people with similar interests and talents. Our motto is ‘Grow. Learn. Connect.’ At Carolina Learning Connection, we encourage everyone to enroll in a class and to have fun while they are there,” said Chavaree.
CLC also offers the community a scholarship program for community members who cannot afford the tuition for the classes the center offers. “We want everyone to be able to use our services. If you cannot afford the class, we can help you,” said Chavaree. The scholarships will be awarded on an individual basis depending on their specific circumstances.
There are plans for a community outreach program.
