Most everyone I know loves noodles and there isn’t a better location to eat at than Nothing But Noodles to feed the masses. We love to go to this restaurant because it is fast, tasty and has a wonderful family atmosphere. Personally, I think their sign should read…
Nothing But Noodles
“Families are expected!”
Because truthfully, they really do think about the family and the needs that come along with it. No need to get out coloring paper, the food is served swiftly (and there isn’t a shortage on quality of food!) No need to worry about lousy service, as they are super nice and patient, especially to the children. Worried about health? Covered! (I’ll speak on that in a sec.) And an added bonus? You Moms and Dads can grab a quick “drink” if you want to enjoy with your delicious meal.
Many of you know, and have been to their Stonecrest business, but did you know that they have a new hot spot? In the hip area of Midtown, you can find their latest Charlotte location on the main drag – Elizabeth Avenue. “But it’s close to the city, what about parking?!” Great news, they have a large FREE parking area directly in front of the store! This new location has got a LOT of space, (actually a tad bigger than Stonecrest, but who’s counting?) so much that they too can host school night fundraisers! So, you parents out there in the vicinity, please consider talking to your local school to see if they are interested in raising funds for their needs. Nothing But Noodles proudly sponsors schools and would love to take on more! Not only do they sponsor school, but they also help with other programs just like Myers Park Little League! How great is that? Consider what they can do for you!
So, let’s talk about the food for a bit. Did you know they can offer many foods on their menu as gluten free? Just because you are in a land of carbs, doesn’t mean they can’t adjust for your health requirements! Also, the menu carries a variety of amazing salads. I had my eye on a Pear and Balsamic Spinach Salad, but… I went all out and got Lobster Ravioli. OH yea… Flavor of THAT amazing dish was out of this world perfect. And filling too!! I had to take some home and share with my Hubby.
Lastly, this place is really on my eating with kids chart because they care about the pricing of their kids meals. Most average at $3.99 for the meals, and they kids are also going home with to-go boxes! THAT is a good deal!
Want a chance to win a dinner for 4 people? They are giving away 2 sets and I know you all need to jump at the opportunity on this one!

Our family loves to eat at Nothing but Noodles and Pei Wei! They both have fast ,friendly service and an easy atmosphere where we don’t feel like we are bothering others with our children. Food is great at both and quick at both so we are in and out. Their takeout service is great at both places as well, when we are on the run and want something healthier than a drive-thru
We love eating at any Chick-Fil-A, with an indoor play area. My kids enjoy the option of turning in their kids meal toy for an ice cream. We all enjoy the play area, I can relax and watch them from outside the glass, while they let loose and get all their energy out.
My favorite place to take my kids is Chilis. Casual and my 5 year old loves their salads. I’ve never been to Nothing But Noodles. Looks and sounds great.
Our favorite place to eat with the kids is Chick-fil-a because it is fast and the nuggets are easy to share. Buy a box and if you need more buy another. Saves on leftovers and cold food.
Andrea, seeing your article on Nothing But Noodles totally caught my eye because over the last few months this has been our family “go to” spot! Why? Well the noodles of course! My sons love noodles and eating them with chopsticks makes it even more fun. Add to that the fact that the food is fast and not “fast food” and this is a family favorite. Honestly, I am thrilled since there is something there for everyone in the family. AND let’s face it, the chicken nugget is old school!
Stacy, you are hilarious!! Seriously though we love that your family gets a variety of foods. And we agree, it’s nice to have options. Good luck!!
One of my favorite places to eat out with my son is Big Daddy’s! He loves going just as much as me. They have the family-friendly enviornment, we can get some awesome burgers, their fruit cup selection is made up of fresh fruit (yum), my little guy has options of coloring, maybe playing a video game or even watching one of his favorite sports on tv, not to mention noise is usually not a factor being its usually loud inside, and lastly he gets a cup of ice cream at the end of his meal. You can’t beat that! I also like the fact that you can eat outside which is always nice.
Kristen,
I agree, that place is wonderful for families too! I think it’s the best burger joint around in CLT! Good luck!
Our favorite place to grab a bite is…okay wait a minute. I’m gonna be honest it has to be someplace fairly quick, cheap, healthy and convience. Oh wait I’m not finished. Someplace that doesn’t throw everything into styrofoam right after they pull it out of the microwave. We don’t want much huh? Well, we may be picky but we have great taste. Our favorite place to grab a bite at lunchtime with the family is Boudreaux Lousiana Kitchen.
I love Chick-fil-A!! They are so kid friendly & open to the screaming/laughter of small children.
I like both locations. The range of food genres is interesting and makes for fun variety, such that one can come more than once a week and still eat very different foods.
We, too, love Nothing But Noodles. I love that they have several coupons in the Citipass books (we NEVER let those go to waste!), every kid’s meal comes with Fun Chop Chopstick Helpers, the Elizabeth restaurant has such a great atmosphere (although I wish the hours were a little later) and the have a HUGE selection (the Pad Thai is my favorite)! Our other favorite place to eat with our kids is Red Bowl in Fort Mill. Kids eat for 99 cents on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Their portions, for both kids and adults, are enormous and the food is amazing!
I have to say that I really like Red Robin to eat with the family. I love the choices on their kids menu and it’s a great atmosphere. I would LOVE to try Nothing But Noodles and have talked about going there several times. Unfortunately it’s not close to our house but definitely have it on the list in case we are ever in the area!
And the 2 winners are:
1. Susan Lane
2. Kristen
Congratulations ladies on the winnings! I will be contacting you via email for further instructions regarding your gift certificates.
