Waking up to the chilly, Fall air is a reminder of what an amazing God we have. He spoke the world into existence, created different seasons, gave us the transition from day to night, and many other amazing creations. The change of the seasons also reminds me that “things change”. Seasons, weather, age, moods, and people — they all change. There are seasons in life, some are difficult, some are blissful – but nothing ever stays the same. Except for Him, our Creator, our Redeemer – He remains the same!
His Love for us, His Mercy, His Word, and His Grace are all unchanging.
As I journey through life, navigating the ups and downs, I try to keep in mind that God is my constant! I, like many others, desire consistency. I want things to go smoothly, all of the time; however, there are bumps in the road. So I remind myself, though hard times may come, God remains the same!
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
So if your life resembles a roller coaster, with surprising turns and deep slopes, remember that God still loves you!
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning.” Lamentations 3:22
If you need advice and some of the people that you turn to seem inconsistent, turn to God’s Word, because He and His Word are
unchanging.
“All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flower of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever.” 1 Peter 1: 24-25
I thank God because when I feel like I am drowning in change, He remains my rock and my fortress that never changes.
;
Prayer: Thank you God for being an unchanging God. Thank you that your Word remains the same, even in this day and time. Thank you for loving us, even when our love for you dwindles. Thank you for always offering Your forgiveness when we come running back to you. Thank you for your unchanging grace and mercy, that never runs out! Thank you for never breaking the promises in your Word. While I go through life, realizing that everything changes, help me to hold TIGHT to Your unchanging hand. In Jesus name – AMEN!
Have you experienced changes in your life that made you realize that God is the only constant?

I’m constantly reminded that God is the only thing constant in my life. It’s very reassuring to know that despite who comes and goes or whatever situation changes God is always there with His love and welcoming arms.
How true. It is wonderful to know that God is a true constant in our lives. This needs to be shared with the world. I love you Faith. I love your spirit. Your mother is learning from you, my loving daughter. Love from your mom.
Your inspirational message breathes encouragement into troubled minds.
Only a child of our magnificant God could voice so eloquently His faithfullnes
in remaining constant in a changing world. Thank you, Faith, my beautiful
niece, for blessing me with your powerful insight. I love you, and I constantly keep you and your precious family in prayer.

I’ve lived long enough, and been through enough, to learn that there are some things you will not know about Jesus until you go through life’s most difficult changes; trials, tests, deaths, and losses. He has been the One I could always count on. My favorite verse about Him is Revelation 19:11. He is indeed Faithful and True, and the cornerstone of my life. Faith, your children are blessed to have you, and I’m glad I read your article. My day is made. I love you, cuz’n!
We often think that because our walk has been longer, our experiences broader, our laugh lines deeper and the seasons of our lives are nearing winter, surely our thoughts are more profound, our advise is more effective and our actions are less childish. The past few days have shown me that this is not always true, even as I confess it in my own life. Thank you Faith for sharing your wisdom and reminding us of God’s unchanging and consistant love for us!
