Easy Halloween Crafts You Can Make with Your Kids

When it comes to Halloween, you do not have to spend a lot of money on decorations when you use your imagination. Of course, one of the main highlights of Halloween is the pumpkin. Buy a couple of them and download some of the free Halloween stencils online to use as your design. Cut off the top of the pumpkin, scoop out the inside, and mark with permanent marker. Cut out as usual. If you decide on a certain character for your pumpkin, you can use clothing that the character wears and fill it with crumpled newspaper. Tie the ends of the clothing together to hold in the newspaper and display your pumpkin on your lawn. A small table can be used to hold the pumpkin in place.

A Halloween mobile is also an easy craft to make. Purchase a couple of white pillowcases from the second hand store. Blow up a couple of balloons to use as the head. Cut the pillowcases into lengths that will cover the balloon and leave some of the material hanging. You will them tie the material around the base of the balloon for the neck. Cut the lower piece of material into strips. Use black construction paper to make facial features and glue these to the ghost faces. Take some fishing line and string the ghost heads onto a coat hanger. Hang these outside to blow in the wind as they greet young trick or treaters that come calling.
