I am on Cottage Chic’s newsletter list so I get notified every year of their TENT SALE. I used to work just a few doors down from here and LOVE the items they carry. I have picked up several gifts from them. This East Blvd area has so many neat shops. It is definitely worth a trip down there if you have not been before. I have not been able to make this TENT SALE as we are usually at the beach during the sale- which is this weekend every year(both my beach trip and the sale LOL).
This sale has gotten even sweeter. I clicked on the link for the other businesses nearby that are also having a sidewalk sale. The link took me to SCOOP CHARLOTTE and I found the information below:
Cottage Chic will be leading the pack with a TENT SALE in their front yard and 50-75% off bedding, decor, baby, gifts, clothing, and more. With $5 and $10 super bargains too. Cottage Chic opens at 9am on Saturday for you early bird shoppers. Closing at 4pm.
Summerbird designer consignment store is two doors down from Cottage Chic, so be sure to swing by there before you head down the Boulevard to your next shop. Summerbird will have sale items at 75% off, all reg priced items at 20% off and a rack outside with items ranging fro $5 to $50.
CORAL Boutique, at 1405 East next door to the Starbuck’s at the corner of Scott, will be taking 25% off the entire store. That’s 25% off anything you buy, no exclusions. Plus Coral will have a rack of spring/summer clearance at 40% off.
Sloan and Step will give you 10% off whatever you buy that day, and will also have a rack of clearance items at 50% off.
Also in the Shops at Twin Oaks next to Sloan, I.C.London will be doing a ONE DAY sale on a sale, with their 30% off sale going to 60% off and 60% off going to 75% off. All sale bras will be 75% off and all sale panties will be 75% off. They’re bringing in all the sale merch from Ballantyne too for that day only and will have rolling racks on the sidewalk.
Laura James will be taking 25% off all purchases from 9 am to 1 pm and then 15% off from 1 pm to 5 pm. LJJ’s jewelry makes the perfect affordable grad gifts, so get there early! Upstairs in the Shops, next to Step.
Right upstairs in the Shops at Twin Oaks on East next to LJJ is Wine & Design, a paint party place. They’ll be taking $10 Off their gift certificates during the Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, which makes a great gift.
Sweet Repeats Upscale Designer Consignment at 300 East Blvd (right behind “300 East” the restaurant) will take an additional 15% off all their markdowns and 20% off all reg priced merchandise, including their fabulous selection of designer handbags.
Newcomer to the sale this year, PLUSH Interiors is in the Alexander Scott Building at 208 East Blvd. You’ll find PLUSH on the 2nd floor and they’ll be taking 15% off home accessories (excluding lamps) and 10% off their already low prices on coffee table and chairs. Plus 15% off hostess gift ideas.
Modern Lighting. They are right by Petal and will be marking down lots of samples at clearance prices. Plus they’ll take 20% off any ceiling fan order.
And for sure you’ll want to hit Petal, where you’ll find a $1 table (cash only if not buying anything else), $5, $10 and $25 racks, an extra 50% Off sale rack and 20% Off reg prices throughout the entire store. Plus doughnuts for shopping sustenance in the morning and mimosas in the afternoon. Open from 9 am to 6 pm this Saturday.

Vestique (just opened last week!) will give you 10% off your purchase of their crazy low prices on clothing an jewelry, plus a free tee-shirt to the first 50 purchasers who mention scoopcharlotte!
