When going through a tough trial, you’re often told to “stay positive,” “don’t give up,” and “keep believing!” Remaining hopeful is a huge part of battling a serious illness like cancer. The Sandbox Charity exist to provide emotional and financial aid to those affected by life threatening illnesses — their motto is “Get Your Believe On!!”
That’s right everyone, “Get Your Believe On!” Support this wonderful organization who helps families dealing with extremely serious illnesses through a variety of different ways, like providing gas cards, groceries, funds for utilities and fundraising events so the families can focus on “believing and healing.”
There are several ways to help:
Every heart, every hand, every effort counts in The Sandbox! Whether you have an hour, an idea, a dollar (or two!), a prom dress to give, sewing skills, a month or a lifetime, we need you. Our families need you. You can offer a simple donation, a hug, a conversation or a shoulder to cry on letting them know that they are not alone? You can put on the makeup of a young girl going to her first and perhaps only prom. You can help a young man maneuver suspenders over wires and devices keeping him alive. Our kids need you. ~The Sandbox
Events
There will be several Charlotte events throughout the year, including a concert and An Evening for Believing Prom for teens and young adults who are affected by a serious illness. Be sure to like their facebook page, follow them on twitter, subscribe to their youtube channel and join their email list on their website to stay updated on upcoming events! Charities need your help so that they can help others and The Sandbox‘s founders, Mara Campolungo and Brian Dulin “BELIEVED” that they could help these families and with more volunteers, donations and “motivation,” this charity will keep believing and growing!
